The big reveal...

Well, this segment finally tells you where the story itself is going. The rest of the posts were just teasers, so this is where it all starts to get interesting...

...Of course, I had to make sure that none of what I wrote was plagiarism of anything that currently exists, so I am in the process of reviewing everything that could possibly be similar so that I can make adjustments as needed.

Guess it's about time for another update.

The First Turning Point.

Whatever conceptions you've had of the story up till thus far, go over to a garbage bin, grab those conceptions out of your head, and throw them in. Whatever genre you think this story is from what you've seen already, be completely prepared to ditch that thought and adapt to the genre that this story really is.

This next section is the first major turning point in the story. It happens quite early on, and is the first of many twists and turns.

Get ready. Once you are prepared, click on the comments button.

It seems like people are chomping at the bit...

...To see the next part of the story. I guess I'll just have to put it up; I was originally planning on putting up 2 parts the first day, 1 part the second day, and 1 more part each subsequent day after that until I'd put up the first 15-20 pages. After that, I would complete the work and find a way to get it out to the world.

But apparently some people want to see more of it, so I'll put up part four. Enjoy!

The Third Part.

So far, the two segments I've put up have been short, small teasers. This time, the segment is longer.

The next chapter.

I've broken this story up into small chapters, similar to the way James Patterson writes: small chapters that are as much as ten or fifteen pages in length, and as few as one. It works really really well as a plot device to keep the action moving, and it certainly worked well on me to keep my eyes glued to the page.

Just like last time, you'll find the actual story piece in the first comment underneath this post.

The Beginning.

So I just recently began writing a story, and it's coming out pretty well. It was at first intended to just be a short story, but after 44 pages of writing and not even seeing the end in sight, I know that a short story is completely the wrong idea.
Anyways, here's the first part. Enjoy!

EDIT: Apparently, copying and pasting from my Word document won't work very well. I put the actual story itself in a comment, click on the comments button to see it.
